| Interesting weekend. It started off really well. Friday night was a good time. Went out to dinner with some friends to Red Lobster and then all hell breaks loose. Saturday was nice. I really just layed around and didnt do a whole lot. Hung out with Steve and went to the mall in the late afternoon with Tori and Amanda. I needed jeans.. somehow I lost a good pair that I always wear! Needless to say I had to put out $70 again on jeans. I dont like any other jeans except Buckle stuff. I try to buy them from other places but I guess Im really picky about them. Later that night a bunch of us went and saw Jarhead at the theatre. BIG let down on that one. It was alright, but there was SOOOO much unnecessary content in it. It was a little awkward watching it sitting right next to my 17 year old brother too... Today I went into the mall yet again with my mom. Shes always willing to help me when Im in need of clothing especially if its future job attire. She found some things she wanted me to try on for my internship this coming summer! Gettin a head start on it I guess haha. I found some really nice suits. Weird that Im looking at business suits but at least I will be lookin good for my interviews! Tonight Steve and I made dinner together. We do that a lot. Its nice having my apartment where we can cook together. Its fun! Fett. Alfredo with chicken and some garlic bread. mmm! Aww then he cleaned up the kitchen for me while I worked on some of my homework. Aww what a nice guy!! AND he even put gas in my car for me the other day! If you see him, tell him what a nice guy he is! I guess this means I'm going to have to keep him around! hehe.
I bought my bridemaid dress for Heather and Bryans wedding...well my mom did. Man, those things arent cheap! Im going to go broke here in the next few years! Heather and Bryan as well as my cousin Jess and Brent are both getting married this summer! Im going to have a lot going on! Not to mention next summer my brother graduates high school and I graduate from Bethel and well.... we will see about anymore weddings but Im not hinting at anything or nothin haha. Thats a while a way yet!

| I got this from my sister. She amazes me sometimes
1. God won't ask what kind of car you drove,
He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.
2. God won't ask the square footage of your house,
He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.
3. God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet,
He'll ask how many you helped clothe.
4. God won't ask what your highest salary was,
He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.
5. God won't ask what your job title was,
He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
6. God won't ask how many friends you had,
He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.
7. God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived,
He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.
8. God won't ask about the color of your skin,
He'll ask about the content of your character.
9. God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation,
He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of Hell.
10. God won't have to ask how many people you forwarded this to,
He already knows whether or not you are ashamed to share this information to whom you love.
This week is going very well. I got 2 of my tests back and its such a good feeling knowing that I did better on them then I thought I would. Accounting is still kicking my butt but thanks to Carly Randol (love ya girl) Im understanding better. Who knew I would need one of my friends to help me with stuff in college!?! A lot is going on this weekend. Tomorrow night is the Penn v. Mishawaka football game. Its funny, now that Im in college, I enjoy watching the games more. It could be because my brother is playing and doing really well, but it also could be because my boyfriend is also a Mish. graduate. That high school rivalry is still there haha. There should be a group of us going to the game tomorrow including 2 of us who are Penn alumni ( me and Andrew Laird) and 2 Mishawka graduates (Steve and Andrew Wodrich). It should be an interesting time :)
XOXOXO

| I know I know...its been like forever since I have updated. I'm not good at this kind of stuff. My cousin and sister both have been gettin on me to update so they know what's going on in my life. WELL.....school is going alright. Really tough this year. I only have a year and a half left then I will be all done! I work 3 times a week and when I don't work, I study and when I'm not studying, I'm doing busy homework that my profs. decide they need to give me in order for me to keep busy (I guess that's what I get going to a small school...homework still). Steve and I are doing great. Oh...we are back together, but most everyone knows that by now. Things are so amazing right now. I feel like everything is right on track in my life. I have a great family, great boyfriend, great friends, and I don't have that much time left at school. This past summer I was so depressed. I didn't know what I wanted in life at all. I broke up with the one person I had been so close to for a year and a half, I was in the middle of transferring schools (which was a hellish process to say the least) and not to mention I didn't have any idea what I wanted to do in my life. I contemplated doing other things rather than finishing my Business Degree because how hard it was transferring. In the end, everything worked out great. God had a plan for me even when I couldn't see it. I decided that Bethel was the place for me, and I couldn't be happier. My professors are great and I'm right on track to graduation. Steve and I worked on many different things, and its such a great feeling knowing that things are better then they were ever before!! I'm so excited to graduate and start with my career. I guess the thing I'm focusing on right now is what kind of job I would enjoy. All I know is that I want to work in Marketing, but I have no idea for who, where or what. I know that God has a plan for my life and I cant wait to see what all He has in store.
Congrats Jessica and Brent on your engagement!! I love you guys | | |
| Well... I have moved into my apartment with Jaclyn, Amanda and Tori, however we dont have the internet as of right now. A lot has been goin on the last couple weeks, especially with me trying to figure out where I want to go to school and what I want to do. Today was the first day of classes at IUSB and Im not there. Im sitting in the Bethel computer lab waiting to register for my classes here :) So it is official. After much debate, I will be at BC for at least another year. You just cant get me away from this place. | | |
